Frequently asked questions

Will the till work offline?

That is planned, yes. Offline mode is in development; its details will be published before launch.

Which card terminal does Plate work with?

Yours. Payments stay on your own certified terminal; Plate records the payment without ever storing card data. Plate includes its own booking system, so there is no integration to maintain with a separate tool.

Where is my data hosted?

The hosting details and security measures will be published in the privacy policy before launch.
